ABOUT

I'm an author who writes a bizarre mix of Horror & Urban Fantasy, usually with a "Post-Mythic" genre element. My books can be found on amazon.com as well as multiple other online retail sites. Currently I have two novels released, Petty Like A God, and In Bleed Country, two collections released, Further Than Fate and Fragments Of Ruin, and various Digital Shorts & e-Novellas. My works (including short stories, articles & essays) have appeared in GLAHW's Ghostlight Magazine, Playing With Fire, Book'd Out, Technicolor Magazine, Indie Paranormal Book Reviews, Culinary Carnival, HAU Magazine, and various others. In October, 2011, I was the editor for Past The Patch, a Halloween-themed e-anthology released by Dark Red Press.

I'm a part of Dark Red Press, an independent author co-op created to further the creative products and literary freedom of its members. It was created by C.L. Stegall and co-founded by Jack X. McCallum, Jonathan Black and myself.  Writing in various genres, we mostly cater to fantasy, horror and mainstream, banded together to cull the literary cream from the percolating ooze of our imaginations.  Find us at http://www.darkredpress.com

Living in Ohio with 2 cats that are probably plotting my doom, I survive primarily on a diet of coffee & cigarettes. I was terribly disappointed to discover my big century house wasn't haunted; I plan to summon something interesting to lurk around the hall as soon as I have some free time. A failed art student, I still dabble in Visual Arts and design all my own book covers along with scribbling out interior illustrations. Sometimes I pretend to make really, really bad electronica music. I'm a surprisingly good cook - of course, I'll eat anything that's dead. (dead: optional) I listen to every form of music as long as it's NOT Country. Anymore, if you ask me about politics or religious, I'm just gonna babble some quote from H.P. Lovecraft... because it's all pointless.

Imagine a book.  It is a book that one might amusingly shelf along with other titles concerning Existential Philosophy.  This book has been written in the style of Lao Tzu's Tao Te Ching, but could have been co-authored by H.P. Lovecraft and Aleister Crowley.  Now imagine this book acted out by Tyler Durden as he holds a megaphone in one hand, a gallon of gasoline in the other.  Imagine this, if you can.

You are now one step closer to understanding what goes on inside my head...
